Benefits of IRT's Process

Although IRT can provide individual services on an as-required basis, IRT believes that fully integrated reservoir studies provide the most accurate picture of the reservoir and prediction of its performance. This is so because the methodology integrates all available data, thereby making sense of data that alone may not be completely understood. Or, conversely, the methodology eliminates bad data that alone can be misleading and result in poor interpretations and bad investments. Full integration of all the data sets often does not occur in common practice. More often, the individual pieces of the puzzle are constructed independently without accessing potentially critical information from other disciplines. These stand-alone approaches often lead to errors in interpretation and less-than-optimum selections for development strategies. In most cases, the additional cost of fully integrating all data is quickly paid out by the higher level of accuracy, which allows elimination of potential low-yield investments in favor of high-yield ones.
